Butterscotch Funfetti Blondies

5 ingredients. FIVE! That’s all you need. Plus sprinkles, does that really count as an ingredient? Sprinkles are a food group all on their own anyways. Also, even better. One mixing bowl. Hellllo less dirty dishes! yes amen. It probably took longer to read this than it’ll take you to mix this up, ok bye!


Ingredients:

1 box funfetti cake mix

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 egg

1/2 can of 14oz sweetened condensed milk

1 cup butterscotch chips


preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

pour your cake mix into a bowl, drop in your room temp butter and the egg. Mix with an electric mixer! Doing this by hand would be a real workout for the consistency you need. mix until you get a thick dough, don’t over-mix! pour in sprinkles of your choice till your hearts content & fold into the dough.

press half of your dough into a 9X9 pan lined with parchment paper. You’re gonna want parchment paper for this. (you’re welcome)


pour half of your can of sweetened condensed milk in the middle of your dough. Spread around generously with spatula, leaving a small space on the edges to seal your top dough! throw those chips right on top of that sticky mess. add your remaining dough on top of the chips, be sure to seal the edges the best you can!

place in the oven for 25-30 mins or until the dough starts to brown on top. I know you’re going to want to cut right into these babies, but resist! they will not cut properly until the sweetened condensed milk has set. I add mine to the fridge for optimal cooling and because I have no patience. there you have it. Sprinkle goodness baby!
