Dressed up box brownies

Boxed brownies aren't boring - I said it.

They are so easily dressed up with just a few tweaks and additional ingredients!

you'll never know they came from a box 🤭

Ingredients

Any brand boxed brownies

2 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3 tbsp water

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 tbsp vanilla

1/4 Cup cocoa powder

1 cup chocolate chunks for melting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper.

Pour brownie mix into a large bowl. Add in the cocoa powder and mix with a whisk.

Follow the box instructions to prepare the brownies, adding in the vanilla extract at the same time as the eggs.

Once the brownies are completely mixed, fold in the chopped pecans and white chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into your baking dish and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a tooothpick comes out clean. Allow the brownies to sit out and slightly cool.

While the brownies cool, melt the chocolate chunks in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until melted. Chocolate scorches very easily, so make sure to stir in between melting times. Add in 1 tsp of olive oil for a really smooth consistency.

Pour the melted chocolate over the top of your warm brownies. For best results, serve and eat immediately. 🤗
